She founded the “Stichting Theatergroep Esperanza”, from which acts and performances were made. She began her musical career in 1999 with ‘Saudade’ (Jazz & Worldmusic) and ‘Esperanza y los Corazones’.
With ‘Cachoeira’ (Brazilian Music) she has played at Liberation Day 2004 at the Museumplein in Amsterdam.
With ‘Nadjazzda’ many concerts have been performed such as at SAIL AMSTERDAM & the OEROL FESTIVAL in 2005. She was accompanied by great musicians such as: Jens Lima dos Santos - Rick Piepers, Mark Milan and José Lopretti – pianists (playing with Izaline Calister, Lilian Vieira from Zuco 103); Olaf Keus and Enrique Firpe – drummers; Gilbert Breuer (played with Vanessa Mae) Bart Fermie – percussionists (with Randy Crawford and Toots Thielemans) Pablo Nahar, Bryan Leinwand, Gregor Schaefer, Felix Hildenbrand and Michaël Stratz –baseplayers; Mirella Pirskanen – violinist at Cirque du Soleil; Patrick Sedoc, Aleix de Gispert, Joeri de Graaf - guitarplayers and Chris Corstens - saxophones.

Born in Amsterdam from a Dutch mother and a Russian-Mexican father, Nadja was brought up with a love for jazz, world and especially Latin American music. She was trained as a singer in classical music and jazz for eleven years and received her diploma in acting in 2002 at studio ‘Het Collectief’ in Amsterdam.
Here she was taught by several American teachers. In addition she took many years of dance classes, starting at the age of thirteen: jazz-ballet, flamenco, African, samba, salsa and tango.
She has worked as a cabaretier, actrice and singer with many different music and theatre groups; the diner show ‘De Suikerhof’, the street-theatre group ‘Pavana’ and with the English spoken theatre group ‘Trezoor’: ‘Loving Shakespeare’. In 2001 she participated at the AKF dutch cabaret festival finals and subsequently toured through Holland with her one-woman mini-musical, The Esperanza on Ice Revue.

Now she is playing her new theatresolo: ‘Mijn Zwervend Hart’ – ‘My Roaming Heart’, with own compositions and world-repertoire, and finishing the third season at youth-theatre-group Teatro Munganga.
Her talent is also shown in the diversity of languages and genres she sings in: Dutch, English, Spanish, Brazilian-Portuguese, French, Russian and Roma. Jazz, blues, chansons, bossa-nova ,samba, tango and East-European music.
She teaches singing in private and workshops. As ‘Singing Christmastree’ and ‘Lady Liberty’ or ‘Topera’ she performs for feestboekingswinkel And as an entertainer she makes cabaret and diner-shows for companies through promopodium.
